A long day...
Ok, so I didn't get up super early, only about 7a.m. along with the rest of my family. For a Saturday, that's pretty early! Today I (we) got to go to a wedding for a "grand"cousin - my dad's cousin's daughter. So as soon as we had gotten all the stuff we wanted and were all ready, we got in the car for the 4 hour or so drive to Evansville where the wedding was. On the way dad dropped some stuff of at a customer of his from work and then we made it to the wedding site about 30-45 minutes early (early is good). One cool thing about the setup of this wedding was that we all sat around tables during the ceremony so there wouldn't have to be any extra setup before the reception. Nice planning! It was a nice (but definitely short compared to the ones Dr. Blackwood does) fancy wedding and there were about 200 people there by best guess. We hardly knew anyone that was there except for Grandpa, Grandma, her sister, a couple of her kids, and the bride that we sort knew. It's sad going to a wedding and realizing that you basically know no one! Following the wonderful reception meal and cake :) we loaded back in the van for the drive home. By this time it was about 6p.m. and since traffic was nonexistent, dad let Kevin (you better be scared now) drive for about the first 3 hours on the way home!! He surprisingly did a great job though; surviving his driving, we actually made it home too!
