Wow what a great sermon this morning. One thing that makes it really interesting is that I just started doing 1st Timothy in my Quiet Times last week, and now they're preaching on it! What an amazing coincidence.
Today Pastor Faris preached on 1st Timothy 2 which talks a lot about prayer. As a man of God I must take responsibility to be a leader in prayer. Prayer for those over me in governemt, church, and family. When I come before God I must be pure in heart or there will be a barrier between him and me. To save ourselves from shipwreck, we must pray! Prayer is the focus of our lives, not for ourselves, but for those in authority over us.
